This Yoga for Men series helps practitioners discover the benefits of yoga that many men think are only available to women. The classes in this series will work on specific points that hinder men and may not get addressed in a standard yoga class. Men are often more muscle-bound and inflexible and thus may think, “Yoga is not for me!”, but that’s exactly who should be doing yoga. Yoga is a centuries old practice that is promoted by professional athletes, coaches, trainers, and physical therapists. Our classes will be a vinyasa style flow class working not only on flexibility but functional strength, stability, breath work, and mindfulness. This series is great if you want to balance and recover from your other athletic pursuits, if you’re looking for injury prevention, or if you’re just looking to move around after your stationary desk job. You will sweat, but you will also be less stressed and more resilient for your busy days. VIRTUAL OPTION: There is an option to take this class virtually and receive the recording within 24 hours, which will be good for 7 days. Please let us know if you are choosing this option as we will open up additional in-studio spaces. You will receive the Zoom link 2 days prior to the first class and it will be good for all subsequent classes of the session. Class will run for 6 weeks.
